Shefford Fire Team

Shefford fire station is manned by retained (paid part time firefighters and officers.
Our station covers an area that spreads from Stotfold (in the south) to Shorts Town (in the north) and from Southill (in the east) to Clophill (in the west).
Our patch contains a good mixture of industrial, rural, railway, military, residential and motorway risks.
We attend about 350 calls a year to deal with fires, road traffic accidents, chemical incidents, anmimal distress and others special service calls.
We also provide back up cover for the surrounding station areas.
