Annual Town Meeting

The Annual Town Meeting 2003 will take place on Friday, 11th April at 7.30pm in the Community Hall. For those interested in town affairs this is your opportunity to hear reports on the Town Council’s activities, and to ask questions. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone considering standing as a candidate in the Town Council Election in May.

Civic and Community Awards for Shefford

As residents of Shefford you are invited to make your nominations for this year’s awards. The CIVIC AWARD is for any building built or renovated recently considered to be of outstanding design and which enhances the town. The COMMUNITY AWARD falls into two categories; the first is for the INDIVIDUAL who has made an outstanding contribution to the life of the town; the second is for the GROUP which has made such a contribution.
Nominations must be in writing and state clearly the name and address of the building, person or group to be nominated.
Letters should be sent to the Clerk, Shefford Town Council, 152 London Road, Biggleswade, Beds. SG18 8E, to be received by 21st February 2003.
