Golden Jubilee ‘Painting Competition’

CORONATION COLOURED PICTURE COMPETITION FOR YOUNGSTERS OF SCHOOL AGE. THREE AGE GROUPS, those attending Lower, Middle or Upper School - entrants must be attending school or resident in Shefford.

Pictures should be on A4 or A3 paper using YOUR CHOICE of materials e.g. coloured pens, colouring pencils, watercolours or crayon.

There are three prizes for each age group £50, £30 & £20 of art materials.

CLOSING DATE is the 24th May, 2002.

Your pictures will be judged by Mrs. Barbara Evans - local artist. The winning pictures will be displayed along with many runners up, in the Scout HQ on Monday, 3rd June, the second day of the Shefford Jubilee celebration.

Entries can be handed into The Steamer PH, The Woolpack PH or R.J. Whitbread P0 Southbridge Street. A very very big thank you to John Whitbread for providing a centrally situated collection point. Please wrap entries or perhaps lightly roll and remember to give your name, age and the name of your school.
