I would like to bring to residents attention that we are having trouble with people walking dogs on school premises. I would like to remind dog owners that the field is County Council property, used by very young children. Dogs fouling the area is greatly adding to a serious Health and Safety risk! If you own a dog, please think of our young people and do not walk your dog on school premises. Thank you. Carole Good-Dixon, Head Teacher.
1st Shefford Rainbows
Rainbows are the youngest members of the Guide Association, they range from 5-7 years of age, and the 1st Shefford Rainbow Unit officially opens on 12th January, 2000. It will be held at Digswell Memorial Hall, Hitchin Road on a Wednesday from 16.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs term time only. The current waiting list of girls keen to join Rainbows is growing but the offer of adult help is not, unfortunately. If anyone over 18 years of age is willing to give up just one hour of their time once a week to help myself and another guider to run this new venture for Shefford I would very much like to hear from you.
